These terms concern the Stepluma app and its accompanying information. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Use
Stepluma is an iPhone app for personal summaries and analysis of steps and movement. Use it responsibly and within the available functionality.
Free & Stepluma Full
Stepluma is free to install and usable with the Stepluma Free feature set. Some advanced, mostly long-term features are unlocked through the one-time in-app purchase "Stepluma Full".
Stepluma Full is a one-time, non-consumable purchase with no subscription, no recurring payment and no advertising.
Purchase through the Apple App Store
Download and the Stepluma Full in-app purchase take place through the Apple App Store. Payment, Store account and any refunds are governed by Apple's applicable terms.
Access to Stepluma Full
Access to Full features is based on the valid purchase status provided by the App Store. Following a refund or revocation, Full access may be removed. Your locally stored activity data is not automatically deleted as a result.
Refunds
Refunds and purchase handling are governed by Apple's and the App Store's rules. These terms do not set out a separate refund policy of their own.
Technical requirements
A compatible iPhone, supported iOS version and required system permissions are necessary. Features such as widgets and notifications depend on iOS capabilities and background rules.
Sensor data
Stepluma uses Core Motion step data provided by iOS. Availability and quality depend on the device, how it is carried, system state and Apple interfaces.
Accuracy
Step values and derived presentations can be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. They are not intended for safety-critical, scientific or medical decisions.
Activity Score
The Activity Score is an in-app personal orientation. It is not a medical value, diagnosis or comparison with a clinical norm.
Walk Check
Walk Check supports personal review of an intentionally started, short walk. It does not assess health, illness or physical capacity.
No medical advice
Stepluma is not a medical device and provides no medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Consult qualified healthcare professionals about health concerns.
Export and backup
You are responsible for keeping exported files and local backups safe. Review files after export and before restoration. Sharing with third parties is your decision.
Ongoing development
Stepluma may evolve through updates. There is no guarantee that every feature remains identical on every future iOS device. Arbitrarily withdrawing already purchased features without reason is not intended.
Availability
Features may change with updates. Error-free or uninterrupted availability cannot be promised, particularly due to operating-system, device or interface changes. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Rights in the app and content
The app and its content are legally protected. Use is governed by the rights granted in the App Store and app. These terms do not give Stepluma ownership of your locally stored activity data.
